“ABOUT US” - "U.S. Troop Care Package" was founded on March 19, 2003, the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom and relies 100% upon volunteers, donated items, and financial contributions to send Care Packages to our Troops. We involve the community nationwide by encouraging volunteerism and by facilitating Americans desire to support our Troops deployed across the globe and to support our wounded Troops through Care Packages from home.
“SHOPPING LIST” - A suggested list of Personal Care and Food items as well as other needed items that "U.S. Troop Care Package" sends to our deployed Troops as well as to our wounded Troops. The “Shopping List” also details sewing directions for our “Operation Comfort” pillow project and directions for knitted and crocheted beanies for our Troops.
“SUBMIT TROOP” - "U.S. Troop Care Package" encourages friends and families of deployed U.S. Troops and our U.S. Troops themselves to submit their name(s) and overseas addresses so that "U.S. Troop Care Package" can send them a Care Package. This is a secure site and the pertinent information can be easily submitted on this form. FOR SECURITY REASONS THE NAMES AND/OR ADDRESSES OF OUR TROOPS CAN NOT BE DISCLOSED.
“CALENDAR” - A three month calendar of events with focus on "Operation Comfort," which is a volunteer effort to make and send pillows to our Troops.
“MESSAGES” - Letters and E-Mails received from our Troops during the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 who have received a "U.S. Troop Care Package" and comments from our generous donors and supporters.
“VOLUNTEERS” - "U.S. Troop Care Package" relies upon volunteers to assist in every aspect of our organization and which activities are defined in detail.
“DONATIONS” - "U.S. Troop Care Package" is a volunteer organization that relies upon the community nationwide for donated items and financial contributions to send Care Packages to our Troops deployed overseas and to our wounded.
